Has anyone tried this that can talk about it? The terms seem pretty generous, but I am thinking that most people who pull the trigger mean they wind up keeping the car anyway.
In my area, the majority of GT350s are being sold on Carvana, which is putting a cramp in my test drive adventures.

See if Carvana has a Z06 and do the trial for that too.. . GT350 is louder & more seats but the Z06 is better at everything else.

It is my understanding that’s it’s more of a 7 day return policy than a 7 day rental/test drive, Test-to-Own as the put it has restrictions-
What are the limits of the 7-day Money Back Guarantee?
There are a few limits surrounding our 7-day Money Back Guarantee. The first day of your test-own period starts on the day that you receive the vehicle. If you decide to return your vehicle, please let us know prior to 5 p.m. EST on the 7th calendar day after receiving it. We will make arrangements with you to coordinate the return at that time. Additionally, you can drive the vehicle up to 400 miles during your 7-day test-own period. You can still return the car if it’s driven over 400 miles, however, for every additional mile after the 400-mile limit, we will charge you a fee of $1.00 per mile. Please note, we cannot accept a return where the car has been modified, damaged, or altered from its original condition when we delivered it to you. We also cannot accept a return if the car has been in an accident or has had a lien or other encumbrance put on the vehicle (other than the retail installment contract you signed with Carvana).

From what I’ve read online Carvana is great if you’re doing a straight up purchase, no trade in. But if you want to return, trade in vehicle at same time and especially if you’re not local people have run into problems with their service.
Also, with respect to their own financing ,I’d be careful. Read up about the owner

Gonna be trying it this week, so I’ll report back after it’s done.

I have no experience with Carvana, but I imagine you would of had to pay cash or have your financing approved before they send the car to you. There will be some type of loan origination/processing fee that you won’t get back. Otherwise people would take advantage of their 7 day trial as a free car for 7 days. You'd have to have insurance in place beforehand too.

Something similar to Carvana is VROOM. Dallas-based and I have considered buying from them in the past. They too have a 7 day policy but they charge for restocking+shipping

They have 7 Gt350s for sale and 2 Z06s

Oh as an actual car owner from Drivetime I’m never giving those people any of my money again.
Ugh. Ugh. Worst 3 years of my life.

I sell cars at a luxury store, and am now taking pictures of the cars brought in with carmax and carvana tags to document the pad slaps on bad rotors ( aftermarket pads im sure) the unknownest of tire brands if they even replaced tires, and accident/ hail histories ( no brandeds). I sold a car to a guy who i was trying to find the right car/ price point to, and when i finally had it, he said he had a car on way from Carvana, and he was going to have the local dealer look at it first to decide. When it arrived, had 2 bald original tires back, 2 chinese noname tires front, an amber tint back window which was impossible to see through, scraped up lower bumper valence, and one key of the promised two. Told them to put it back on the truck and bought mine. These guys buy the 2 -3 of 5 possible condition cars at auction , skimp on the recon with junk parts and toss them to you. Never buy a car with enough miles to need anything from them.
